3.2 What Contractors Can Do

- Receive Project assignments through the Platform
- Communicate with Customers within the Platform

3.3 Platform Architecture

- Payments: Processed by Stripe Connect Express. Funds are held within Stripe's regulated payment infrastructure and released to Contractors at milestone completion. See iScope's Platform-Controlled Payouts Policy for details.
3.4 What iScope Is Not
iScope does not perform construction, painting, drywall work, or other physical services. iScope is not the Contractor and is not a party to the Customer-Contractor Project agreement. iScope facilitates the marketplace and processes payment timing.
4. User Accounts
4.1 Account Registration
You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain and promptly update your account information
- Maintain the security and confidentiality of your account credentials
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
- Notify iScope immediately of unauthorized account use
Accounts are created only through the iOS app. The website does not support account creation.
4.2 Authentication and Security
iScope requires multi-factor authentication (MFA) for all accounts. You may choose your MFA method at signup: authenticator app, SMS, or email.
If you choose SMS as your MFA method:
- Standard message and data rates may apply
- You may reply STOP to opt out of SMS at any time
- You may change your MFA method in account settings
You may optionally enable biometric authentication (Face ID or Touch ID) for sign-in. Biometric data is processed entirely on your device by Apple's Secure Enclave; iScope does not receive or store biometric information.
4.3 Account Authority
You may create only one account. You may not share credentials.
4.4 Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time:
- In the app: Settings → Account → Delete My Account
- By email: Info@iscope360.com with subject "Account Deletion Request"
- By web: iscope360.com/legal/delete-account
Account deletion handling is described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Property Registration and Authority
5.1 Authority to Register
When you register a property, you represent that you are:
- The legal owner of the property, or
- An authorized representative acting with the owner's authorization
iScope may verify your authority by comparing your registered name to public property records (county assessor data). You acknowledge that this verification process is not a substitute for your legal authority and does not relieve you of responsibility for representing authority truthfully.
5.2 Property Records Persistence
Property records may be associated with the property address indefinitely as part of a long-term documentation system. Handling of property records following deletion requests is described in our Privacy Policy.
6. User-Generated Content and License
6.1 Content You Provide
You may upload photographs, videos, documents, notes, scans, recordings, and other content ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content.
6.2 License You Grant to iScope
By uploading User Content, you grant iScope a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, sublicensable license to:
- Store, host, and back up your User Content
- Display your User Content within the Platform
- Process your User Content using our AI subprocessors and other service providers
- Associate your User Content with the relevant property record
- Use de-identified, aggregated data derived from your User Content to improve Platform features
6.3 Representations About Your Content
You represent that:
- You own or have all necessary rights to the User Content you upload
- Your User Content does not infringe third-party rights
- You have legal authority to capture and upload images of the property
- You have the consent of any individuals identifiably appearing in your User Content where required by law
- Your User Content is not unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent, or harmful
6.4 Photos Capturing Other People
Photos of your home may capture other individuals. You are responsible for:
- Ensuring authority to capture and upload such images
- Respecting the privacy of others
- Reviewing photos before upload
- Excluding minors from photos where inappropriate
6.5 Content Removal
iScope may review, refuse, or remove User Content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
7. AI-Assisted Features and Outputs
7.1 AI Features Disclosure
The Platform uses artificial intelligence to support scoping, documentation, image analysis, voice interaction, and project workflows. By using AI features, you authorize the sending of your User Content to third-party AI providers as described in our Privacy Policy.
7.2 AI-Generated Content
The Platform may generate content using AI, including draft scopes of work, draft RFPs, surface area estimates, and identification of obstructions and fixtures.
AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or unsuitable for your situation.
7.3 Your Responsibility to Verify
You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before relying on it for any purpose. AI-generated content is a starting point, not professional advice.
7.4 Attestation in RFPs
When you generate an RFP, you may be asked to attest to property conditions (age of structure, presence of obstructions, known damage). By signing or authorizing the RFP, you confirm the attestations are accurate to the best of your knowledge.
iScope does not independently verify your attestations.
7.5 Lead-Safe Work Practices for Pre-1978 Properties
For properties built before 1978, iScope automatically adds lead-safe work practice requirements to your RFP, consistent with the EPA Lead Renovation, Repair, and Painting Rule (40 CFR Part 745). This is a precautionary measure based on your attestation and is not a substitute for an EPA-certified lead inspection.
7.6 No Professional Advice
The Platform does not provide engineering, construction, legal, financial, insurance, or building-code-compliance advice.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for unlawful, fraudulent, or misleading purposes
- Provide false information about property ownership or authority
- Submit fraudulent attestations
- Upload manipulated or fraudulent documentation
- Use the Platform to harass, threaten, or harm others
- Interfere with or disrupt Platform operation
- Attempt unauthorized access
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble Platform software
- Introduce viruses or malicious code
- Use automated means (bots, scrapers) without permission
- Violate applicable law
Violation may result in suspension or termination.
9. Payments
iScope v1 is free with no payments.
When iScope introduces paid features in the future, payments will be processed by third-party providers (Stripe and/or Square). This section becomes active when paid features launch; until then, no payment terms apply.
Our Refund and Payment Dispute Policy is published as a future-active document and applies when payments are introduced.
10. Independent Contractors (Future Marketplace Provisions)
iScope v1 is for homeowner use. Contractor accounts and marketplace features will be added in future versions. When they launch, the following will apply:
- Contractors who use the Platform are independent businesses
- iScope does not employ contractors or supervise their work
- iScope does not warrant contractor performance
- You are responsible for verifying contractor license, insurance, and qualifications
- Service agreements are between you and the contractor
These provisions are included for transparency about iScope's planned direction and do not apply at v1.

The Platform, including software, design, text, graphics, logos, and trademarks, is owned by iScope or our licensors.
You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit the Platform except as expressly permitted.
